This is the makeup I wear on a daily basis. Fresh and natural.
Just some random things I got during the very first weeks of Winter. Since my final was coming I didn't have much free time to go shopping.
First thing first, my cosmetic haul from Beauty Crunch. I heard that Beauty Crunch is the only authorized company that sell discounted Stila and Too Faced cosmetic, so I put a lot of hope in my first purchase there. What I got were truly discounted. Everything in the photo below cost me 50.52 bucks and around $8 ground shipping fee. The shipping was not so bad since I only waited 5 days for this. Here was what my order turned out to be:
The price sounds awesome, but when it comes to quality, there are a few things to talk about.
The set of 2 major Mascaras in Black was $20. I was pretty excited when I saw that deal on the website, since I know right now Sephora is selling the same mascara for $22 each:

But can you see the difference? The mascara container in the picture above has some floral panel in it... while mine doesn't have. I noticed that right at the first sign and I felt like I was cheated. But still I gave the mascara a try. It took me several coats to have the result I wanted, but actually it was not that bad. The mascara really give my lashes length and many volume. Yet there is one more thing, I found this mascara's smell bothered me a lot. I probably will go to Sephora to check this mascara's actually quality out. I really don't think people sell a @22 mascara with this kind of horrible sense.
The other thins I got was a pearl shimmer gloss, a tube of gel cheek color in Pink Flush, and a set of "The Red Carpet look" eye shadow palette in "back stage beauty" with a little black eye liner. The website was nice enough to send me a gift, which is a Stila Lip glaze (the massive lip pencil one) in Ginger Bread. Now let me share my thought about them. I'm not so crazy about the gloss, since the applicator is tooooo tough! The color came out pretty nice though, but it hurt my lips whenever I apply the color on (I mean, really, it's that tough.)
And I think the cheek color is as horrific as the lip gloss. Every gel cheek color is supposed to be really concentrated, but the one I got was not pigmented at all. I applied a bunch of it on my cheek and it still barely showed any thing. I hate it. Such a waste of money.
The eye shadow palette was... okay. Here is the colors:
I thought those colors were very nice and wearable, yet they didn't stay very long on my eye lids and tended to fade away. I did like the colors though. Probably it was because I didn't use any eye primer at all.
The eye liner the palette came with was actually very good. It was so creamy and pigmented. I love it as well as the lip glaze. Those two things probably were the only things I was happy about in my entire purchase. In short, I don't think I'm gonna purchase anything from that website again. I have a feeling that website may sell fake cosmetic. I no longer have any trust there.
Oh, here is what I found on youtube. A girl was giving her thought on her first order from Beauty Crunch website. I don't wanna be mean, but I doubt her review =).

Alright. Here comes some shoes. You will hate me when you know how much I paid for each of them. Hah!
Michael Kors- $30
BCBGIRLS-$25
OMG I got them from a store called NordStromRacks. That store is pretty much like Ross and Marshall, but they only sell discounted stuff particularly from Nordstroms. I'm still in a daze when recalling the moment I saw those shoes. I could not believe I would ever get a better deal. Those shoes were 75% off at first, and 50% off later on. That was how crazy it was. They're 7 and a half, which is a half size smaller than my size and I take PAIN walking in them. But it doesn't matter. It definitely worth the pain walking in these lovelies... lolz
That's pretty much all I wanna share today. I gotta go sleep now cuz it's 5 in the morning. It's snowy now in Virginia and I might stay at home all day tomorrow. It's gonna be a white Christmas for sure, isn't it exciting?
Love,
Chi
